PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION:

PURPOSE:
Identification of an appliance method for CSR elements and preparing the company to obtain the SA 8000 certification – a standard with social implications aiming the way of management of the human resources, employee rights and work conditions.

ACTIVITIES:
– Making an initial evaluation of CSR inside the company, in the most important areas of impact: employees, environment, community and relationship with stakeholders.
– Agreeing strategic goals and operational objectives of corporate social responsibility in one or more of the 4 areas of impact
– Identification of the decisions and actions needed to achieve strategic objectives, risks and opportunities. Identifying the relevant stakeholders and the implication level for each group / category.
– Realizing work instruments to identify suppliers and clients.
– Employee participation in company activities, on the most important trends in business development, in defining the vision, mission and values in conformity with the new orientations regarding CSR.
– Participation in conferences, seminars and a study visit in the UK in order to exchange experience and to accumulate relevant information and afterwards applying them in the company.
– Starting the CSR report of the company.

RESULTS:
– Definition of the company’s mission, vision and valor.
– Identification of the main opportunities and obstacles in the company’s activity.
– Execution of the activity plan and the next steps in fulfilling the vision and strategic objectives of the company.
– Application of the evaluation instruments for client and supplier satisfaction.
– Application of the social responsibility elements according to those studied in Great Britain.
