Product details
Circular lifting cables made of steel wire rope are manufactured according to SR EN 13414-1, EN 13414-3; the steel wire ropes used are according to EN 12385-4, with vegetal or steel core. The circular looms are obtained by mounting two aluminum sleeves (duralumin) or by braiding the ends of a piece of cable mounted in the loop (splicing).
The orders must include the following details: the wire rope diameter, the nominal length of the curb circumference in mm or m, the type of matte / galvanized wire rope and the type of sling: pressed or spliced; If these details are not mentioned, it will be considered implicitly that it is a pressed circular cable, made of galvanized wire rope.
The table below shows the characteristics of the slings made by pressing(sleeve) from 6×19 or 6×36 steel wire ropes with vegetal core; for spliced slings the coefficient is reduced with a wiring loss coefficient of 0.9
