PATON – MONORUTHIL welding electrodes

Product details

PATON Monoruthil electrodes are used for manual arc welding with alternating or direct current in metal profiles for general construction or high-stress applications, made from carbon steel or medium-alloy steel. Electrodes with a diameter of 2.5 to 4 mm can be used for welding in any position except vertical down, while 5 mm diameter electrodes can weld in horizontal, horizontal down, transverse, and vertical up positions.

Specific characteristics:

This type of electrodes can weld in conditions with difficult access. Thus, the gas bubbles that form around the electric arc remove water and provide favorable conditions for welding, making them suitable for welding, for example, eroded sections of water pipes at pressures up to 1 Atm.
MONORUTHIL electrodes ensure easy ignition, providing a stable and uniform arc, with few spatters, easy slag removal, and the formation of a uniform weld. They are specially designed for welding steel and metal structures subjected to static and dynamic loads, for welding containers and pipes where high mechanical properties are required for the welded sections.
Wet electrodes can be reconditioned by drying for one hour at a temperature of 300-350°C, but no more than 3 times.
